Climate change changing the face of America
The USA's “Natural Resources Defence Council” have produced an interactive map to show the impacts of climate change. The map shows impacts of climate change on infectious disease, drought, extreme heat,air pollution and floods - its a picture of the scale and scope of climate change impacts as they are happening - from increased days of extreme heat to the northward march of dengue fever mosquitoes. This is the USA but similar changes are happening in Europe

Rhett Stevenson, from the American satirical news spoof The Onion takes time out to write a chillingly funny article "Climate Change demands at least 45 seconds of Real, Concentrated Panic each week"

This Guardian "cut national carbon emissions application" was published in the run up to last years elections. It allows you to manipulate variables like energy production methods, car use and energy efficiency to see if you can reach an 80% carbon emissions cut. Have a go - its not easy - and getting there looks like it could involve some big sacrifices!
