Making a leap to a sustainable world means working together, sharing experience and knowledge. "Your community" brings stories of people working together to make a difference. Whether its community gardens, a housing association retrofitting insulation to old housing stock, a self build eco-community housing group or an in-school project this is the place to let the world know what you are doing and inspire the rest of us to follow your lead
As more users add their story to the site we will develop an interactive map - allowing you to put your project on the map and others in the area to find you. It could be a neighbour hood garden scheme or a local producer network like those created by the Inspirational "Incredible Edible".
No one really knows quite what a sustainable world is going to look like - this is a chance to share the task of finding out!
Orchard planted at Moreton Hall
Woodland Ways, a Suffolk wildlife group, have planted a new orchard at Moreton Hall where an orchard once existed between 1900 and 1960.

Incredible edible
Incredible Edible is a project that has transformed the Pennine Town of Todmorden. Started just 3 and a half years ago witha handful of friends, it continues to grow to a network of over 280 volunteers.
Britains Greenest Festival
Croissant Neuf, two time winners of “Britain's Greenest Festival Award”, have just held the 5th annual “Summer Party”. The festival, a long time ambition of the team behind Croissant Neuf's Glastonbury Greenfield venue, has taken the warmth, energy and great performances of Pilton and put them into a spectacular natural amphitheatre on a Welsh hillside.
Eden Project launches Green Talent website
The Green Talent website gives young people aged 14 to 19 the chance to interact with staff at Eden, Kew and RSPB, as well as representatives from a range of other businesses to find out about careers and expand their understanding of low-carbon and sustainable organisations. The forum also encourages teachers and individuals to join to offer their advice.
